TOKA Group Charter of Corporate Behavior
The TOKA Group*1 has established this charter in order to realize its management philosophy and meet the expectations of its stakeholders. With this as the basic stance for the TOKA Group's activities, we aim to resolve environmental and social issues and contribute to sustainable development through our corporate activities.
(Contribution to Society by Fulfilling Our Corporate Functions)
- 1.We contribute to the sustainable development of society by providing innovative, truly valuable and safe products and services.
(Compliance with Laws and Regulations and Fair Business Activities)
- 2.We will comply with domestic and foreign laws and regulations and conduct fair and equitable transactions and responsible procurement with high ethical standards and social conscience.
(Appropriate Disclosure and Constructive Dialogue)
- 3.We will strive to enhance the transparency of management and the value of the company by fulfilling our responsibilities through the timely and appropriate disclosure of corporate information and ongoing constructive dialogue with a broad range of stakeholders.
(Respect for Human Rights)
- 4.We understand internationally recognized human rights, respect the human rights of all people in all our business activities, and will not be complicit in human rights abuses.
(Trusting Relationship with Customers)
- 5.We will strive to gain a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, do our utmost to ensure the safety and quality of the products and services we provide, sincerely respond to customer feedback, and strive to earn their satisfaction and trust.
(Improving the Work Environment)
- 6.We will give the highest priority to ensuring the safety and physical and mental health of our personnel*2. We will respect personalities, individuality and diversity, and create an environment in which they can feel the joy of working according to their individual will, ability and aptitude, and can demonstrate their abilities to the fullest.
(Environmental Initiatives)
- 7.We will proactively address the key environmental issues of climate change, biodiversity conservation, and limited resources.
(Social Participation)
- 8.For the sake of co-prosperity with the countries and regions with which we have relations, we will deepen our understanding of their cultures and customs, actively participate in society based on their characteristics, and respond to the demands and expectations of our stakeholders.
(Promoting Crisis Management)
- 9.We will establish and continuously improve a crisis management system to prepare for various risks, such as natural disasters, infectious diseases, terrorism, cyber attacks, and information leaks, that threaten the continuation of our business activities. In addition, to prevent damage caused by antisocial forces, we will respond in accordance with the law and in cooperation with related organizations.
(Role of Top Management and Dissemination of this Charter)
- 10.ecognizing that it is their responsibility to realize the spirit of this charter, top management shall take the initiative to ensure that it is shared throughout the company and our group companies, as well as with our business partners.
