TOKA Group Action Guidelines for Respecting Human Rights

The TOKA Group* will address the following key issues related to respect for human rights.

(Forced and Compulsory Labor and Child Labor)

We will eliminate all forms of forced and compulsory labor and child labor, including in our supply chain. We will also comply with legal standards regarding wages and working hours.

(Discrimination)

We respect the human rights and diversity of individuals and do not tolerate discrimination based on nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, ideology, gender, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or employment status, or any other conduct that undermines individual dignity. We prohibit discriminatory language, violence, and harassment in the workplace, and treat personnel fairly and impartially.

(Violation of a Safe and Healthy Work Environment)

We will create a safe and healthy work environment by reviewing laws and regulations related to workplace safety and health and their application, paying special attention to the use of hazardous chemicals that pose a health risk and the operation of sharp and dangerous machinery.

(Violation of Local Residents' Rights)

We will conduct sustainable business activities at each stage of procurement, production, distribution, sales, use, and disposal, with an awareness of minimizing waste and greenhouse gas emissions, without directly or indirectly contributing to or facilitating pollution. We will also provide necessary and sufficient information about the safe use and potential hazards of our products in the language of each stakeholder to ensure that they are handled appropriately at each stage of their life cycle.

(Complaints and Remedies)

In all countries and regions where we do business, we will establish and operate a system and contact point for reporting (including anonymous reporting) by our personnel and stakeholders who have suffered human rights abuses.
